To be considered for this role you must have: Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification related to the role. Or at least five years of relevant experience to substitute the formal qualification. To be considered for this role you must be Australian Citizen/ Permanent Resident or have proper working rights in Australia Your main duties include: Plan, organise, direct, control, coordinate and promote sport and recreational activities, as well as develop related company’s policies. Offer administrative support to managerial staff and head of the organisation across a wide range of functions. Respond to enquiries and requests for information from other organisations and members of the public. Organise meetings, training, coaching, festivals, conferences and other events. Liaise with local sports councils, regional committees and national governing bodies. Consult with clients, members, the community and local sporting organisations. Manage budgets, control finances and sometimes coordinate or raise sponsorship. Produce promotional literature, reports and event materials and liaise with marketing and media organisations.
