Football Star Academy is Australia's leading youth soccer skill development academy, delivering programs that are focused on enhancing individual players’ technical & strategic abilities within a small group environment.
Programs include Weekly Skills Clinics, Elite Pathway Programs, Schools Programs, One On One Sessions, Holiday Camps, Club Engagement and International Tours.
We are looking for a high quality, experienced and motivated Sports Development Officer to join the FSA Team in Geelong. Our goal is to grow the participation rate of our weekly soccer programs by providing development pathways that are affordable, accessible and inclusive for all ages and abilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of management, administration and operations and will work with the Directors of the company to ensure the successful delivery and growth of the Football Star Academy program in Geelong.
To be considered for this role you will need to possess strong management and leadership skills along with exceptional communications and customer service experience gained within a sporting organisation.
Salary: This is a full-time position. You will be paid between $50,000-$60,000 plus Superannuation.
Work with players aged 1-16 at all levels.
Be available for nights and weekend work.
MUST have FFA coaching licence or equivalent.
MUST have Valid Working with Children Card for Australia
At least 1-2 years coaching experience at youth level.
Relevant Diploma or higher qualification is highly desirable

Roles and Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality coaching sessions to players aged between 1-16
Explore opportunities for increased participation in our weekly clinics
Help strengthen and grow the number of kids participating in our Elite clinics and Holiday programs
Maintain effective communication with schools, parents and kids with the objective of getting new clubs and schools within our catchment area on board
Maintain regular communication and effective working relationships with staff and other key stakeholders
Recruit and train staff and ensure compliance to FSA (Football Star Academy) coaching codes and procedures
Work with Directors to market and promote FSA events
Manage all player registrations, transfers and cancellations
Manage customer communications including enquiries, complaints, feedback, etc
Assist members through online registration processes
This is a full-time position, however due to the nature of the role, some out of hours work (including weekends and evenings) will be required as standard.
